My first post!
Hello everyone and welcome to Divine Decadance!
I'm Katerina, and I would like to introduce you to my little shop!
Here is how the story goes.......
Everything started on a hot summer day of 2012, when I was having a walk and passed by a craft shop. Among many materials, the first thing that caught my eye was polymer clay. I was impressed by the bright colours and the endless possibilities that this little cube had to offer! This was the day that I first used polymer clay! It was love at first sight!
After a while, many little things (especially sweet treats) came out of my oven! These were usually gifts to my friends, who encouraged me to start this little shop!
Many people wonder what does ''Divine Decadance'' mean. Well, this is a line taken from one of my all time favourite movies- Cabaret! It is said by Liza Minelli, as she smokes a cigarette and seems to enjoy it from the bottom of her heart. It's not that I approve of smoking, but this scene had a powerful impact on me. Liza's character felt so good when she was doing something that is concidered a ''guilty pleasure'', and this is what matters the most in my opinion! Enjoying the moment! I hope that this is well represented in my shop! Little pieces of jewelry that bring joy and a sence of pleasure to anyone who looks at them and wear them!
That's all for now! I'll be back soon!
Have a divine day!
Katerina
